The lovely Dvorak Uncensored pointed me to this article in the Telegraph about scientists strapping a big air bag to cows to see how much methane they excrete. Methane is a greenhouse gas, too, you know.

The Argentine researchers discovered methane from cows accounts for more than 30 per cent of the country's total greenhouse emissions.
Maybe the global warming problem is worse than we thought...
